I changed my date on an award ticket to Switzerland but the customer service person said that the ticket confirmation may only come latest 72 hours before my flight is this a guarantee that I will get the ticket?
I want to book an American or swiss flight to the U.S. But don't want to book until I'm 100% positive I'm on the first flight
Any tips?

Booking El Al with Delta miles, it's E class and says nonrefundable. Is it really nonrefundable or can the miles be refunded and just the taxes won't be refunded?

If it's truly non refundable, what would insurance refund if applicable?

At least for flights to/from the US both the points and taxes are fully refundable, I don't know why they say non-refundable (Also had it a couple of times)
