I booked a El Al ticket on Friday morning for Sunday night flight, on Priceline. It clearly said free cancellation within 49 hours which is up to the departure time (unfortunately I didn't make a screenshot).

I checked the reservation now on Sunday and it says your free cancellation window closed Saturday night !!


I called Priceline who confirmed that my contract says like I originally had seen but would have an issue processing the cancellation. She escalated the case. I took her name and case number and was advised to call back in an hour.

I tried him again and he was also able to get me on a sold out flight,
This previous one was LON-TLV and the ticket he gave me was an award ticket I paid $600 range everything went smoothly

I purchased an economy ticket and I have free class upgrades. I also have the options to upgrade to first class for 40k points + $550 or premium econ 7500 points + $150.

1. I know economy sux, is premium worth upgrading no matter what?
2. is this price worth the upgrade to first class?

Assuming your talking about a long haul flight to NY-
I flew 2 weeks ago in premium was fine.
The price they are asking for biz is expensive it usually goes for 17.5/28k + $380.
There's a very slim chance of getting upgraded for free these days.
