The question I had was if they will cancel the ticket on me without warning (possibly cancel the business single ticket or the family ticket with everyone on..), how likely is this prior to check in? Any chance I can call and have them change my ticket name in coach to the infant?

Not sure about ELAL, but many airlines automatically cancel duplicate bookings (2 tickets with same name) at any time

Refreshed lounge is wonderful. This next comment is obviously not specific to this Airline but since it is predominant at this airport I mentioning it.  The shul is woefully undersized and never has decent air conditioning, if any. It's an embarrassment to our people. How do we start an improvement and enlargement campaign?

I recently flew with Elal and had a very pleasant experience.
However I would like to provide some feedback which can be termed and accepted hopefully as constructive criticism and will hopefully lead to some improvements.

I appreciate the effort Elal has invested to cater to the needs of the orthodox Travellers however I still feel more can be done.

The range of audio options have improved (even though radio 24 6 seems to have replaced Menachem  toker which is a shame why it wasn't possible to have both) and has quite a selection.

However the video selection remains miniscule and dated. I don't think there are any proper full length movies (one was a 5 minute advertising clip the monsey fire Station gave out which doesn't really qualify as a movie 😏).

There are hundreds of orthodox films on the market and while I am not in the line I assume if you manage to get so many non Jewish / orthodox movies on you should be able to get these ? Especially the older  ones should be easier.

Any improvements and updates would be appreciated.

I wanted to do that 4 Monthes ago but figured that one email to elal would do nothong, so i tought maybe somone who has influence in the industrey would make a differnece so i contacted dan that he should reach out to elal and he sent it over to them, but still no change in the meantime (except for a few old podcasts.)

IIRC It was supposed to be much larger, but some sort of religious org liberated a nice chunk of it for a clubhouse.

Once upon a time if you were a new oleh you could bring in some crazy sum when you came on Aliya but they got rid of that to comply with international money laundering laws

1. You can bring in more but you need to declare it, something you probably do not want to do.
2. To answer your question

If a person is traveling with another person, the report must also be made when:

1. One passenger holds funds whose amount is above the reporting threshold. The fact that he is traveling with another passenger (even if it is a family member) does not exempt him from the obligation to report.
2. Different passengers holding funds in joint ownership when each of them owns an amount less than the reporting limit and the total amount is above the reporting limit, for example when it comes to family members traveling together and the funds are jointly owned by family members.
