I tried to find if it has been talked about but could not find it sorry if its a repost

I am flying first time ELAL 747 (normally go United) and according to Seat Guru 35K is very good as there is no seat in front and it has a window? Am I missing something it seems pretty good? Can i get out without going over the other two people in my row?
FTFY
I believe it's a very good seat. But it cost $$  IINM

LY8 from JFK - TLV 11:45pm, showing on FlightAware that it left at 1:19am which is 1hour 34 min late now showing that it’s landing at 8:57pm which is almost 4 hours later than originally scheduled. How does that make sense?

It's a mistake. Scheduled to land about 5:35pm Even according to FlightAware the map shows it nearly approaching IL

How can I see exactly when they’re landing? Still looks like they’re in the air.

Only accurate way is FlightRadar24.com

ELAL deliberately feeds false (or non-current) data to various publicly available departure/landing time sources. FlightRadar24 actually shows you where the aircraft is (as long as it's trackable).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Is this for security reasons?

That is such outdated thinking.

In the age of FlightRadar24.com, why would they even care to do it like that. If someone really wants to know where an aircraft is, it easily doable in today's day and age. This is in line with ELAL's corporate DNA, not looking to change things, just preserve and build on top of what was there (at best).

I love the way you guys are getting carried away by one assumption built on another.
I haven't noticed El Al being less accurate than other airlines. But even if it was the case, noone ever said that it's intentionally done. One person decided that he think so, another decided to assume it's probably for security, and you already figured out that it's cause is bad DNA.....

Well maybe you never checked ELAL. Do they provide up to date flight arrival information on their website or by phone.

What do you know about El Al? Haven't you boycotted (BDS?) them many years ago?
Yes, being that I'm a TA, and I've booked hundreds of people on El Al over the years, I've checked the flight status quite a bit more often than your honor.
Secondly, what does their site have to do with anything? It's no secret that it needs to be updated. But this info is available across dozens of flight tracking sites.
Thirdly, they DO have flight status on their site. Click the tab המראות ונחיתות

Ahem... Checking flight arrivals is usually done by a person that is not on the flight.

I  stand corrected.

And thereby might be the source of my perception. In the few times when I did attempt to check LY arrival times for family members arriving, I saw huge discrepancies between reported times and what FR24 showed. You probably have many more DPs and might see it as something that doesn't happen all the time.

Though using the links you provided I did the following spot check (which I wouldn't consider egregious, but nonetheless off) should really check something close to landing.

Can anyone advise what the ElAl process is when dropping off an unaccompanied minor at EWR? Some airlines give you a terminal pass to escort the minor to the gate. it does not look like Elal has that option.

If you book PE and they change the aircraft to 747, what seat do you get?
