It's around for a few months already. IME, not very efficient. Unless you're asking for something very simple (like ordering a SKML for a flight booked via OTA etc.), you'd be better off calling.

elal J class 747 - what is best seat to get? which ones should be avoided?

also is there enough room so you don't have to hop over someone if you are the window seat? also is everything lieflat (aka did they adjust the old seats so they arent angled?)

I like seats 10D and 10G because they each have direct aisle access.
Otherwise upstairs is a bit more calm. The main inconvenience upstairs is that they let all the downstairs J off the plane first, and only then the upstairs J, never understood why.

If you're seating by a window you will always have to hop hover someone else when they sleep
It's not fully flight, there is a slight angle.

Friend booked a ticket with UR flying ELAL, spelled the passengers first name as Tzivia instead of Tzivya, an issue? Can't cancel and rebook as price of the flight jumped, and ELAL doesnt want to touch it.

So ELAL refused to touch it, but after hours on the phone with Chase (passenger was nervous with name mispelled) they somehow managed to get it changed with the pax passposrt sent in. I got email confirmation of the change as well.

Now when I try to pull up the reservation online it says this...

Today LY told Ynet that it will operate flight to Orlando during the summer, with first flight on July 2nd. Price starting at $999, and will be on both the 787 and 777. I couldn't find how many weekly flights at this stage

Confirmed. No more elal Z class on points after April 1st. Same goes for the double points in Coach as well as in Premium.

@Dan maybe update the post regarding the upcoming changes.
