Finally was able to change flight for free for next day.  El AL apparently only lets you switch to the day before or day after original flight if there is a significant travel change on their part?
anybody ever was able to also argue that their seat location should be matched for free.  Originally passenger had a window seat and now with new flight only middle seats available unless we purchase window for $99.  Do you think I have a good argument to get that waived and match the original seat location(window) since it all stems from their significant travel change?

any strategy to get a free aisle or window seat? do the paid seats open up for free last minute?

Hi guys i'm relatively new here. i got an elal voucher for $535 and when i went to use it, the value that they said is left is $11.40 so i sat on hold with them for countless hours and finally got through then they said someone named amit langer used my voucher and they they promptly hung up on me i dont know anyone by that name is there any thing i can do? or does anyone know someone in elal that i can get through to because there costumer service number is sending me in circles!

I don't know where in the world you are flying from but presumably it's somewhere that Shabbos is over later than 6pm. I was sure that with frum ownership Elal would no longer run those schedules which involve blatant chilul Shabbos. However I now see that they still have, for example, their 10:30pm flight ZRH-TLV on July 2 when Shabbos in Zurich ends at 10:28. That means that everything up until takeoff is scheduled to occur on Shabbos R"L. Several years ago I recall noticing that one similarly scheduled flight actually departed early. Why would they not change such an important facet of their operations?

A friend of mine got a call from their travel agent that Elal cancelled their flight in December and said that Elal told them they are no longer going to be flying to/from Toronto.  Has anyone heard this?

A simple search on Google flights shows they’re reducing from 3X/week to 2 between November and March

I have a flight on a motzei shabbos from LAX non stop to israel at 9:15 PM, I can be at the airport by 7:30 PM. First how do I check in, if they say that I can only checking from 3-24 hours
before the flight? And anything else I should try to prepare for?

IIRC flights on Motzei Shabbos have a longer check in time
