I have a El AL NYC-TLV flight upcoming, I know that these flights are overbooked, I can not afford to be bumped off the flight, is not checking in a suitcase making a bigger chance to being bumped off?

Any recommendations on how to avoid it?

Was with someone in TLV who they wanted to bump because he didn't check in online, he also didn't have a seat selected (bh got on the flight as someone else volunteered)
My advice is to check in early online and have a seat selected and you should be fine.

have an elal tikcke that delta gave me due to cancelation, but i cant select KSML, the phone rep told me that she is also not able, she cna only select regular kosher, vegetarian or kids. Anything i can do?

pretty sure "regular kosher" on ELAL is the same thing as KSML... unless they call their standard meal regular kosher?

Remember that the owner of ELAL is a yid, so many of the heterim that people use to "pad" their bills on other airlines need a shalya asked first...
In recent years they've been quite reasonable, Pre-Kenny "essentials" was an airline issued toiletry bag + a pair of underwear, and go jump on any other compensation.
They still probably aint going to cover purchasing a $1000 shabbos dress, no matter how much you prod them.

We live in Baltimore but travel to EY for the summer and Tishrei. We hadn't flown El Al for 14 years due to a bad experience and loved United.... until they stopped flying. So we tried El Al and we were very pleasantly surprised. It looks like we will be flying with them for the foreseeable future. So obviously I am trying to get status and diamonds. We have an Israeli bank account so we can get a Fly Card premium Or since we live in america, we can be part of the executive circle. The problem is I really can't get much details on that, and although we recently qualified for silver, they still haven't contacted me with any details. You cannot be in the executive circle and get benefits while holding a fly card. Does anybody have a recommendation as to which we should pursue? Does anybody know what the perks of the executive circle are?

I'm trying to compare the EC benefits with Flycard Premium benefits
you don't need a TZ (and my wife has one anyways), just an Israeli bank account.

From what I remember EC was created for foreign residents who cant/wont open a Fly card. They are supposed to be roughly equivilant on point earning.
EC is more or less:
Accelerated Point Accrual:
EXECUTIVE members earn 20% more points on all EL AL flights in Premium and Business class
Special Redemption Rates:
EXECUTIVE members receive special award fares,
Preference on Upgrade Lists:
EXECUTIVE members are given priority approval for seat upgrades,

I don't know if it has any other unadvertised perks.
The FlyCard has other perks, but many of them you would have anyway from US CC you already have.
Flycard premium has an anual fee of $100+, EC from what I can tell is free...

Some of the things that they count as perks, dont seem so much to me. for example: Lounge Access... click through and the perk is... the right to pay $32+ to enter a lounge.
