I just flew premium from tlv to jfk
No premium security line
No premium check in line
No premium boarding access
Meal Pillows blankets and seat better then AA or BA but not as good as delta united or virgin
Prices are currently booking for pre war business class
Not kidding literally 3500 rt jfk tlv for a flight 350 days from now that's not chanukah Christmas etc.

Doesn't sound like they need to be "forced" to be the "same" as United then. People wouldn't pay for it if they had an issue with it or had a different choice.

on elal, premium probably means half inch more legroom

Don't forget that only availabilty for about a month is TLV-NYC 7000+ Business. (In comparison - you can get First Class BA for 4000 RT and you used to be able to get it for 3000)
Obviously they have demand... The same reason that their Matmid program and CC gives so little...

Bought a flex ticket and the fare went down, do I need to cancel and rebook, or elal service can just refund the difference? Option to change online is greyed out.

Ime It seems that Elal have pulled their flights from ota like Priceline Orbitz expedia for same day of travel / 24 hours before flight.

The theory probably being they don't want ppl being able to hold flights with free cancellation up to flight time.
Amextravel however still shows them

Can you be the first off the plane, as well as last one ..?

Since I had the last seat in Buisness I got off the plane the first, only to realize that we're missing an important article

. So we decided to go back and look for it, but no luck.
Given the importance of the missing item, we checked underneath all the seats and looked all over.... we even had one of the flight attendants help us for a long while.

After everyone got off, the head flight attended ordered all flight attends to get off (looked like to make them clock out) we asked if we can stay to look for it, and they were ok. Then one of the maintenence crew arrived, and they ordered a technician to come down and litterly unscrew the entire seat, and Bh it was found!

It probably took a good hour or so. I was really amazed by the emphaty they showed, and their help finding the lost item.

The good part was, there wasn't a single person left at passport control and we checked out in 30 seconds...
