Delta to El al luggage transfer
« on: May 15, 2016, 05:49:00 AM »
I'm flying Delta DTW-AMS on business (award issued by Virgin), connecting to a separate ticket El Al AMS-TLV on economy.

Will the Delta agent be able to check my luggage all the way to TLV? If so, am I limited to one piece because the second leg is economy?

Also, will I be able to use any lounge at AMS?

Is this because the ticket is issued by Virgin? My understanding is that Delta can do it on their own tickets, since they have interline agreement with El Al.
