If 'someone' wants to order from a few accounts to maximize the $50 off, would buying all GC's from the same account be a bad idea? 

u can get from amex with every card which has the offer 2 offers of 30 off 100 and use the offer for 50 off twice! So don't see why you need to use a different card?!

A word of caution: someone up thread mentioned that weight isn't exact, so when ordering items that are sold by weight, one should order extra. I placed an order for $163-$50, thinking it would be lowered to about $100 (before I knew about GC). They signifigantly underestimated the weight. My total went from $113 to $144, lowering my savings from ~53% to ~41%

Can you please explain why the gift card changes things (I saw people discussed it upthread but don't understand). And why did the underestimate change your savings, because you could have spent more and saved more, or because you may not get the 50 off 125 promo.

New one! Chck ur account! I don't know what others got ,but looks like i got the 100 offer (refund of $30),and others here say they all got the $25 for spending $75.

Checked my accounts and didn't find it, that's why I thought it was the old offer.

Sorry if my advice ended up hurting you. I had the opposite situation - my order was originally $161.74 and ended up being $151.82 shipped.

Now that we know that GC purchases work that is clearly the better option since you won't have this problem.

If you order using a GC you are guaranteed the Amex credit. You spend $100 on the GC and get $30 back. In my case if the price was overestimated then my total may have come out to $99 after the fresh direct credit, thus making my purchase ineligible for the Amex credit.

it's not a loss, it's just taking away from ur savings! (like you said it lowers the discount percent.) so can't be that bad if spent 5-10$ more!

if you read the terms and conditions I think it's for new accounts!   Offer page(under there is the shaded gray where it says offer for first time customers! suppose to be applied to ur account as soon as you chck out but if not put the code manually "FD100"So don't know if others got it using them once before, it sounded like someone did because they were saying that the estimate the weight and not so accurate so if it worked for him then it works for old accounts to! Or maybe under a new name?!

1-yes, best bet to qualify for everything, would be to buy a gift card! 2-question for you, do they have a gift card which you choose your amount you want to add to it? Assuming it's an e-gift card? So why would you need more then one gift card?
