I got declined without a hard pull for a saphire bec I had it within 2 years

just applied for CSP for parent, who is way over 5/24 (probably 10/24), but is a CPC customer. got the pending notice and decided to call in right away.

the rep reviewed the account and didnt mention anything about 5/24? she asked if i wanted more credit or can we move balance / close one of the existing cards. i asked to close the existing Sapphire card and move the balance, which she was fine with.

The only thing is that, she said it has to go to secondary review as i'm moving credit from one card to another and closing that account. she tried to get someone to do the review as i asked if it can be expedited, but she said no-one was available at that moment.

am i in the clear? if they were to deny based on 5/24 shouldn't that have happened by now?

Should have happened by now, but no guarantees. People have said CPC are excluded.

Yes, all United cards. YMMV as always though as some have been approved even if over 5/24.

couldn't wait that long so decided to call. so data point, got approved for CSP over the phone even with being over the 5/24. though from a CPC account, so not sure if that matters, or just got a rep who didnt care?
