Bye bye, Chase.

Let's wait for confirmation first. Anybody been approved for any of those listed cards after May 22nd/23rd (note application must have been made after that date). Fingers crossed I'm wrong again, certainly wouldn't be the first time.

Reconsideration told me that this rule only applied to chase brand and not to the marriot

Dammit. This isn't looking pretty. Once Dan makes a post about something, it usually means that thing is dead. I think I'll apply for the mayor
Marriott cards just to see what happens.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Would be more appropriate if they would start enforcing the 5/24 rule on today's date '5/24'  :)

If my source is right, Hyatt & IHG should be OK, but United is likely. Fingers crossed all three go through without issue.

Note that they are saying it applies to applications made after this date and not for applications that were pending. Anybody get approved for any of these cards since May 23rd??

I applied for Ink+ on 5/18 and received approval on 5/23 and am over the 5/24 limit.  So it seems already pending applications are indeed not affected.

The automated system usually gives you the status starting from the last application working it's way up to the first app, so in your case status #1 should be for Hyatt, status #2 = IHG, status #3 = UMPE,
Listen to it again and report back, thanks.

Applied for the ritz card got the "it can take up to 30 days we can't expedite" response doesn't seem like there's  a hard coded 5/24 rule.        On a separate note I applied around 1:30 am can I go for more, will the pulls get merged?

Can you also go for one that you know will deny you due to 5/24 (I/E/ freedom) so you can compare the language that they send you as the apps progress?

Obviously only if it will not hurt your chances of approval on the 1st card... Can someone chip in on this?

will chase let me switch an existing hyatt personal card to a Marriott business card?
I have already 5/24 and I rather have a business card then personal.
