Chase 5/24 Rule now applies to business cards (?)
« on: May 23, 2016, 06:58:07 PM »
Was just advised by recon that since yesterday they have started enforcing this rule on all Chase branded business cards, he said if I would of opened one day earlier he would of been able to approve it for me

Did he specify that the limit is 5/24?

I can't comment on this, but I got 2 Inks approved over shabbos.

Did you HUCA and get told this repeatedly?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Assuming this is the case, I wonder if one can get auto approval...

I don't see why it would be any different than CSP other than autos being much tougher for inks.

I was under the impression that most people just got declined without a pull, when they exceeded 5/24.

No.
Maybe you're thinking of denial for having gotten bonus in past 24 months.

770 Score, had exactly 5 in last 24 months. Spoke to rep declined only for that reason.

Did they mention the numbers 5/24, or just too many recent cc apps?

+1
That is the key question. They have been saying too many new accounts for years.

My source said that it went into effect on May 22nd/23rd for Ink, SWA, United, Marriott. Not sure about the other co-brands. Still waiting on more DP before I post.

Note that they are saying it applies to applications made after this date and not for applications that were pending. Anybody get approved for any of these cards since May 23rd??

Biz and personal, or just biz?

Not sure, they just said pretty much what I just posted. I assume personal as well, maybe not business co-branded because they did business branded second, but who knows.  :-\

Also note, this is a different source than Chuck had to find out they were originally going to implement this. Gave us some information on Chase FU before it was released that turned out to be all 100% correct. Outside of that not sure how good their intel is.
