Is this outright illegal? Has anyone gotten pulled over for it? Any info on how to do this?

Same goes for commercial spray that supposedly reflects the camera's flash back onto its lens, transforming the license plate area into a blank white rectangle. The speed camera still captures a clear image of the plate number.

In fact, the MythBusters determined that the only way to fight speed cameras was with speed itself — and lots of it. Speed camera sensors can generally detect cars traveling up to 200 miles per hour.

I got a ticket for having a plastic cover on my plates. $65

You can easily fight that ticket by sending in a clear picture of both license plates without the cover!

How about a bike rack covering the plates?
I see them all over Miami, I have a bike rack, Im thinking of just putting it on bec, why not/

I've always said that's the most genius way of blocking the plate. No cop is pulling you over for that. But it does make you look like a bit of a dork.

So many crazy ppl out there! I've seen the corners of the plate bent so it should miss a number! The city needs money, there going broke!

I was at a bike store yesterday out on long island and was going to get a bike hitch specifically for this reason (I love my roof rack and it's not as dorky😉). But my sales guy told me that he recently had two different customers that got tickets in the city (that would be NYC for those of you not from NY) for having a bike hitch without any bikes on it BECAUSE it blocks the plate. They we told that if there is a bike on it, it would have been ok. Seems like they may be catching on so I'm having 2nd thoughts.

So buy a cheap bike to keep on the rack duh

And prob makes it harder to fit into to a tight spot

So there is no spray or anything that works?
