Mazel Tov! Loads of nachas. So I guess you still have quite a journey before you become a batchy.
Bacsi means uncle in Hungarian
Let's brush the dust off of this old thread, and see if we can't get any pshatim from newer DDFers about their names... Hi, my name is Moishe, and I'm an aDDict.Oh, sorry, wrong thread... But seriously, I have several dozen nieces and nephews, bli ayin hara, who all call me "Uncle Moishe" (well, the ones who are old enough to talk do, anyway). Being that I am of Hungarian descent, I went with "Moishe bácsi" here on the forums, but adapted the more Boro-Parky, phonetecized spelling of "batchy" for those among us not blessed with accented characters (plus, that spelling is just easier to read). That's my story... What's yours?
