I am not sure what the issue is but in some places in my house there is no cell coverage at all! I have Verizon and now that I got the Priv it is even worse. The second I am out by the door it works.

I have Sprint and they have an in-home booster called Airave that works well for us. It was supplied at no cost.

Also, Sprint now has Wi-fi calling which is pretty reliable.

Perhaps Verizon has something similar.

When it works it's amazing, it can take time though till your phone connects to it, the big downside is that if you speaking on the phone whilest it's connected to it, you cannot leave your house or else the call will disconnect

If service does not work in your house Tmobile would send you a signal extender (put it on your windowsill) for free. Maybe Verizon would do the same.

I know another case where AT&T did not work at all around someone's house and they installed an antenna on his roof.

I don't want that. I want something that boosts the outside signal to inside the house so I wont have all your downsides.

You could buy those, but they're quite expensive.

When I called Sprint, I told them that I had poor reception in my home but that my next door neighbor, who has Verizon, received great reception when at my home. I said I would switch to Verizon if they couldn't provide a solution. They installed the Airave for no cost and no monthly fee.

I have an israeli friend that uses his Israeli cell here in the USA, his israeli provider is Partner-Orange, here in the US they use T-mobile. Is there any way greeting a booster from T-Mobile for free?
Also he has a USA cell that's Red Pocket (at&t mvno) will the T-Mobile booster help also for at&t? Or the lock it only for their phones?

Nope by the fact that your phone is searching for signal (its working harder) it gives off more radiation
