Ridiculous Etihad First class lounge in AUH policy

Some destinations have 3 flights on 2 cabin aircraft and one 2 cabin, so if you you happen to take the 2 cabin flight your our of luck.

Because your not flying first, its actually quite simple. Fly F and you get access, fly J and you dont.

Fly JFK-BKK, pay for F ticket, and be excluded from 1st class lounge if you fly at certain times. Make perfectly sense

When I was there 2 months ago, it was literally just a specific area within the J lounge.
Has something changed?

Always been that way,  just hasn't been enforced. May not be here either. Time will tell.
