This isn't new though its getting fresh coverage now. You fill out all info on the plane or upon arrival and connect to internet and submit the form like that. There is a dedicated line for it with some reports saying it can be faster than GE.

You can actually file it before departure.
Helpful if you're not going to have data upon landing (what prevented me from doing it last week)

Yes, I used it last week. It wasn't faster than global entry but it was grossly comparable. Once it really takes off it's not going to be that quick anymore, though

but i guess it's great for people without Global Entry
