Laptop for home office
« on: June 15, 2016, 08:03:49 PM »
Anyone know what's the best way to setup a laptop for a home office desk? I have a screen mouse and keyboard, is there like a dock I can just plug the laptop in and then everything will work?

Any recommendations appreciated

IDK about a dock, but you can get USB hub, and then there aren't so many wires to connect/disconnect every time.

This should work for what you have in mind.

There are more expensive options available that have multi-monitor support if you need that.

And it's Amazon, so worst case if it doesn't work just send it back for free.

Yes there are plenty of docks. What's the question?

That seems decent, so basically I can hook that to my comp with a single USB cable and everything can be connected to the dock? even the monitor?

I thought docks were only for cables like keyboard / mouse / printer, will the monitor work as well even though it connects to the laptop USB?
