I'm thinking of doing a chase triple and a city triple, freezing the e's and letting them hit TU (I'm in NY so I have almost no hits on TU). I have no current cards with either except as an AU on my wife's Chase Freedom. Will this hurt my chances or help? I see a lot of talk about using current cards and accounts as leverage when talking to recon. Is there any chance of getting instant approval on everything? And if I need to go to recon, will it hurt me that I have no bargaining chips? I do have a chase savings account and I was an AU on my parents Citi AAdvantage (not sure if it's open and/or if I'm still an AU).

Also, if I'm doing 2 separate triple apps, is there any reason to do them at the same time? Like maybe they won't see each other's pull b/c of the timing?

Any advice/comments are appreciated.

freeze only works for chase

Freezing doesn't work for Citi.

As long as the Chase only pulls from TU and Citi from Equifax I should be fine. Experian is the real problem for me right now.

What's up with Experian illegally holding inqs for 25 months instead of 24 like the other 2 bureuas. I've noticed they have done this before with me and 6/21/09 inq still stays. Dickheads. I want to report them to the FTC

I wouldn't recommend it, someone I know tried it and got extra pulls.

All personal accounts, or a mix of personal and biz? Were any reports frozen?

As others stated here. I would not do an incognito window. From what I've seen in the html code there are quite a few variables and cookies that must be stored holding values that relate to your offer. If these values can not be passed and uploaded through the submit link then Chase will be lacking a lot of data regarding your offer, possibly the timestamp on the cig_appid and other vital information that you may have no recourse (unless you have screen shots) to prove. There is much more data that is stored in the cookies and variables that needs to be sent and could cause chase to generically put that data in, possibly causing delay or affecting the authentication of your application. The best thing to do is unplug your modem, clean each of your cache, history and cookies on each browser, and then after 1 minute plug your modem back in, restart all browsers and clear cache and cookies once more to make sure.

I'm also thinking about freezing both E's and then applying for Chase Hyatt + SW, so I am curious to know what happened to you.

It works, but might result in two pulls, or might not.
