question with three browser method

anybody have any luck with 3bm and freezing together?
I want to do chase southwest, sapphire and hyatt

and i have two gold cards so only option is the plat which i currently dont want to put out 450 for even tho i know i will get back

No particular reason other than I've had success waiting and it's not worth wasting the time with another argument with the rep over whether I should just wait 2 weeks for the computer to decide first.

In the end I decided to wait.  My decision had nothing to do with Chase though.....after I put in all those Chase apps for me and my wife, we both got instant approval on SPG and now have to spend 9k in 3 months.  So I think it's probably fine to wait two weeks for a verdict from chase (maybe longer if denied) and then (if needed) begin fighting to get them to open the Sapphire cards.  This way I'll have a slightly later window of time to meet the spend req. on Sapphire.  I'm not sure I could really swing $15k in under 3 months. (2 x 4.5k for SPG and 2 x 3k for Sapph)

with the 3 browser method, what is the advantage? that you get only 1 credit pull for 3 applications? or that you can wind up with 3x the credit line you deserve?

also, if you get denied, will you have to make 3 separate calls to the reconsideration dep. or will one call do the trick?

After reading the forums I see that the main gain is that you get one inquiry which is key for future apps. Not that it doesn"t help you somewhat to get more credit. I also read that some people manage to do it in one phone call (I once saw yaakov s write something like that ) but often you will need to call back for each card.

I just went through a cycle of multiple browser method, and during it I came upon a question.

i.e. For Chase and AMEX (nor sure about Citi, etc.), when you fill out an application, it asks if you already have an online account or are a previous card member, etc., and if so, then to type in your username/password, so that it can fillout the basic details for you and ease the process.

Personally, I have just steered away from selecting yes to that question and chose to put in all my information manually, etc.  But what is everyone else's experience, or is there already a general consensus to what to answer for that question, that I am unaware of?

I tried that once with chase it only complicated things.you're better off with autofill

I don't remember having any problems with that, it ensures they'll have all your information correctly in the app.

Yup on my previous Chase 3BM I signed in for one app but not the others.
