Did you read the OP? I've suggested there some possibility, but ultimately it was posed as a question about people's thoughts of WHETHER one outcome might have influence on the other, regardless of what the outcome is, and open to here how people think it might influence in case they think it would.

It means that a vote to leave shows that people are fed up with the status quo and don't care for the political elites anymore (without necessarily considering the consequences of the change they are voting for) which bodes well for ten Trump's chances

The short answer is that the tide in English speaking countries is shifting towards sticking it to the arrogant political elites, that feel they know what's good for the people, and will do whatever it takes to main control.

When I get to a proper computer and keyboard I will give more background and explanation.
