how could they possibly know where your elevate points came from?then you are each registered and each have to buy your own ticket anyway so why would it help to fly together?Ikr
It would help cuz then we wouldn't need to trade so many of our SPG points for Virgin. We can use the same 40k for 2 people...
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

Shoots, Thanks though!

Is it true that I can transfer the Virgin points to a family member and they will then also get the promo?

Also- is there any know way to burn 1 point on Virgin to keep points from expiring?

It's cost money to transfer
Like $1000
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

@myi @Wizard first off even if it were free, you can only transfer 30,000 elevate points per account and receive only 20,000 so it wouldn't help. This isn't even mentioning the fact that it's terribly expensive, I forget the exact number, you can look earlier in the thread (which you should have done anyways to find the answers to your questions)

You're still not making sense, even if I registered every person in my family, I still wouldn't have to fly together, there is no advantage to doing that, idk why you keep saying it, just find the cheapest ticket that works for that individual person.

sorry, their terms are somewhat confusing, it's unclear if you can only receive 20,000 as a gift or if that number is actually 30,000 and if they're talking about someone buying you points or transferring them.

Did this for my one year old.
Added her as a child to my account...
Sent screenshot, email it. Called and had them send register email right away.
So getting 3X for our family :)

Can you please elaborate ? You added her to your jet blue Account and they gave you the promo X2 with only 50k in your virgin account or did there have to be an additional 50k for your kid ?

I know that people reported upthread that transfer time between spg and vx was less than 24 hours. Has that changed recently with the higher volume?

JetBlue does not allow you to make an account for someone younger than, I think, 16.
So  in order to make an account for my daughter, I had to make a child's account from my own profile. After a few minutes I logged into her account and copied her Trueblue number.
I then took a snapshot of her Elavate and sent it to match just like i did With DW and myself.

I then called to expedite.

I have a $100 companion code (from an offer following the Amex to Barclay conversion). Can I use it, to take someone with me, while I fly for this promo, or might that mess it up?

They put me on hold while verifying that I sent the email.
Seems like they reached out to another department that's dealing with the incoming emails.
I know huca but 20 min phone call just did nothing

Does the AH have to fly? Any workarounds?
Book a ticket in the AHs name and then do the standard workaround for someone other then the passenger on a ticket to fly on a domestic ticket.

I'm eagerly awaiting a response to this questions. If you could have only one Elevate account but receive the B6 points for every family member that flies with the AH, then this could be the deal of the century. Unfortunately, I don't believe that it works that way.
