If we send in the screenshots before the end of the registration period, is that sufficient to be registered for the promotion even if Jetblue doesn't respond before then?

Yes
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Took 3 days to get confirmation.

I was told that it could be two one-way tickets.

Realistically, if both tickets were checked in online do we really think that not actually flying is going to be noted?

I suppose a test case could be run and e-mail afterwards and ask to confirm the points will post in 4-6 weeks and see if they confirm it based on their records.... I don't particularly WANT to spend 4 hours doing this if it's avoidable... though I will. (I also have a wife with a one month old who wouldn't really be able/want to do it so I'd be 2x wasting by not doing it)

1. why can't a one month old fly?
2. do the promotion for the one month old as well

Go have lunch in another city.  Flying with just a book your wallet and the clothes on your back out and back in one day is something everyone should enjoy.

FYI I was just told this:

You will receive 75,000 TrueBlue points if you complete either one round-trip flight or two
separate one way flights
by August 31, 2016

In case that helps anyone.

2. do the promotion for the one month old as well

My wife is nursing. She won't want to fly. As the 1 month old doesn't pay for the ticket I doubt it would work. But my 3 year old it might work for.

Is there a minimum age to open a SPG account or Elevate Account? There would still be time for me to transfer the miles for my son if I was able to open up the accounts (the 3 year old...)

That's what I guessed earlier, but do you have it in writing?

I'd guess that any 2 one-ways will work.

In any case, if it wasn't ideal to fly, do we really think they will note that???

Cool, who did you email to get that?
And it seems that any flight booked after June 24 would work, not specifically after the date you were registered.

Yes.

And if you dont board, the will usually void your return ticket as well.

There would be no return ticket. Because it would be a one-way.

How certain of this are you out of curiosity -- that the one way would be voided if I checked in online but didn't board?

Not sure the June 24th bit but I haven't booked flights anyway so it doesn't matter. I'm wondering if doing 2 one ways and checking in online but not flying would work (they could be spaced 2 weeks apart)

The email was from dearjetblue@jetblue.com after I asked....

FYI - could do it for both kids... the one hitch would be if I could transfer SPG points to a family member... and if SPG let's kids or babies open accounts.... I don't think JB or Virgin has a problem with it.

I never said I was certain. I was just responding to "do we really think".

I am as certain as everyone else who answered you upthread. Certain enought to not even try.
