You appear to be talking about 2 different things. When you spend points, regardless of the origin of the points, you get 10% of those points credited back to your account. When you earn points, you do not get an earning bonus (the way you might with some FF statuses).

Got it , originally I understood it differently . Meaning 10% back on the points earned, only when spending those points...

its really when spending all points. but dan was referring to the 75k promotion and explaining how to make those points go farther.

I booked via Priceline but I did add my ffn and it must have been connected because my TSA pre showed up on boarding pass

YMMV. My flight points posted but not the 75K bonus. I called TB and was told it should've not posted immediately so if it doesn't postt within 6 weeks then to give them a call again.

I flew on July 13th.
The points hadn't posted last night, but they were in my account this morning. The bonus points posted at the same time as the flights.

Not a one way, but I got rebooked with a new ticket number for my flight back because of a weather delay. I lost the online booking bonus because of that, but I still got the 75k.
Thanks to the weather, I managed to take a 440 pm flight from JFK to BOS, and a 515 pm back.

So I decided to go to Chicago for the day to do the mileage run. Took off at 9 a.m. and planned to leave at 8:20 p.m. I'm currently sitting in the airport with an estimated departure time of 4:35 a.m.
