I bought a nonrefundable ticket for JB 8/17 LGB-LAS late morning with early afternoon return for this promo but something just came up for work. Is it possible change the flight to an afternoon time?
what would happen if you just show up late and say you missed the flight? ive done it a couple of times and they just put me on next flight but of course that depends on availability.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. If possible, I would like it to be more concrete. Also, I would like to be sure that this would still activate the JB match.

The other option is to throw away the ticket and reorder it at the later time. It would be $130 lost, but it might be the way to go. I'll call JB now.

Friend missed his flight and confirmed he is still getting points. It did mess up automated process (the missed leg was not auto credited and have to wait 2 weeks to get it credited manually) but rep confirmed he should still get points

Interesting to know.

Just got off the phone after a 30+ min coversation with JB. Another issue is that I booked my flight with OTA because it offers free 24 hr cancellation. Unfortunately, because of this, the reservation doesn't show up when I log onto jetblue.com online (oddly enough, I can pull it up on my phone app). I had JB change the reservation to 8/30. The agent emailed me an updated itinerary and gave me the ticket number. My concern is that because the flight isn't linked to my TrueBlue account, I won't automatically get points for the flight, and more importantly, JB won't automatically give me the 75K match. The agent said I have to call JB after my flight and have them credit my account. She said that SHOULD trigger the 75K match. However, my flight is on 8/30, which is dangerously close to 8/31 deadline.

Did you pay a change fee or fare difference ?

The new flight is actually a little cheaper. Even so, I had to pay $28. They do take the fare difference into account. I was supposed to pay an additional $50 fee for transferring the management of the itinerary over from the OTA over to JB, but the agent was able to waive it.

My main concern is that I can't see this flight when I log in to my TB account. The whole thing about manual credit isn't comforting, especially since my flight is on 8/30 and by the time all this is sorted it, it'll be past 8/31.

The agents are pretty good imo.
As long as they see you flew by 8/31 everything should be fine.

But call up later, use your confirmation number and link your trueblue account. If all that is done should auto credit

Why can't you link the flight to your trueblue account?

I couldn't link it online and the agent couldn't do it over the phone either. The agent said its because it was booked via OTA, but I think it's because a very minor difference in the way the OTA has my name. But the actual ticket has my name spelled he same as my TB account

IME there's an option to do that online for free.

With Mosaic status you can purchase those seats for 300 points.

I did that for 300.

It was an even better deal because I earned an additional 200 points per leg that had even-more-space. Once you add in the 10% redemption rebate (B6+ CC), the cost of the even-more-space goes down from 300 to 70!

You always earn an extra 200 points per leg with EMS seats?

Thanks. I'm feeling less guilty wasting 300 points a person on a one hour flight. (Scandalously enough, I transferred those points from amex, so it was 375MR a person, or about $10 roundtrip. This cuts it down to $6, which feels better for some reason.)

You'll be fine.
I called JB CSR last week to confirm my enrollment in 75K mile promotion since e-mail was so corny & unprofessional.
She said only rule is to complete 1 r/t or 2 o/w by end of 31 AUG.  Got $29 o/w tix LGB to LAS for entire family.
Now looking for kid friendly hotels there w/water slides!

Did she not mention anything about multi city? I flew a multi city begining on the 1st and finishing on the 11th. Nothing posted yet...

I'd only be worried if the base points from both legs posted but not the bonus

Call them up. Try to get them to manually credit 75k to your account. Then, if you're daring, jump on a plane.
They manually credited it , now why would jumping on another plane help? I don't see why it should post Again
