chase closing my checking account

Chase shut down my bank account. Got a check in the mail today with the remaining balance. And contrary to popular belief, even though they pulled their "termination of relationship" garbage on me, all my credit cards are still open

I wouldn't bank (no pun intended) on your CCs staying open, if you have any Chase points to redeem/transfer, do so ASAP! Either way, it isn't popular belief, some people lose just their bank accounts, others just their CCs, yet others lose both...

also just relized:

my cc's arent at risk. my checking account is already technically shut down, and they told me that my cc's arent at risk at all

would they shut it down after telling him its not at risk?

I don't get it either. According to what they told me, they were just nervous that I was violating some banking rules. Nothing to do with credit risk, so I don't see why my points are even at risk

Not sure how much i would bank on what they told you. When they A/A they usually won't disclose the exact details even to a banker.

Attempted use of uncollected funds. I tried cashing a large check, before the money cleared the account it was coming from. When it bounced I cashed it the next day, and called in and asked a rep to expedite it. I guess it triggered some red flags
