I'm from NJ. So most of my pulls are from EX. So I was also wondering if freezing accounts has worked for anyone.

Welcome to the forums!

Freezing doesn't work for Amex/Citi, but has been reported to work for Chase.

Freezing + multiple-browsers (a method to reduce inquires with the same issuer) doesn't always work.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but isn't there a way to make a wiki (ala sd) so that you don't have to pore through pages and pages to find out where inquiries are pulled from (or any other long thread)?
