Typical hysteria...Media is looking for anything to grab a piece of the pokemon hype.
Meanwhile there's millions of players so something happening to a person here or there is not proof of a statistical anomaly.

ETA: 21m daily users of Pokemon go, that makes up 7% of the US population playing this game daily.

Yay, I got an eevee!

Seriously speaking, as popular as this is, the  financial lucrativeness is no excuse for the 40% spike in Nintendo. Will the market wake up to this soon?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

So short it if you're so sure.

There is no way Nintendo can monetize this to match the stock hype. =50+billion

If they owned the whole thing, then I could see it being worth 50b, considering they'll be expanding internationally and possibly were undervalued to begin with.

But apparently they don't own the whole thing...

What's their market capitalization of this that's potentially worth 50B?

Candy crush was worth 7b at one point, I can see Pokemon worth much more.
They have both consumers and businesses dying to throw money at them.

They're accumulating the most valuable commodity: consumer information.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Isn't it obvious it is a Government funded game so they can know where everyone is at every second and for the first time ever they can easily guide certain groups of people to certain areas if they ever want to do anything to them.

Exactly, these people are brain dead zombies they need the government to track and control them. It's for their own good.
