anyone know if this is good?
https://www.amazon.com/Happy-GRILL-HOSS-Barbecue-Cleaner/dp/B00YOB2H4S/ref=sr_1_3?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1468337939&sr=1-3-spons&keywords=charcoal+grill&psc=1
are the reviews too good to be true?
Very into it. I had something like this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C73828Y/, which is so stupid. I was constantly turning it the other way to get in between the bars of the grill. So I bought something like what you linked to, and I'm very happy with it. You still have to tilt it a bit sideways to really get in their sometimes, but it's oriented in the right direction to start with, so it's much easier.

ETA: Also, if you're specifically asking about the crazy review 'record', you can use Fakespot, which analyzes the reviews to tell how genuine they are. It got an F. But a 'personal' review on DDF has gotta be worth more than any of that, right?  ;D

That just means that the seller is juicing up the reviews. The product is the same basic product. The F is not on the product, it's on the authenticity of the reviews.

Anyway, get this one instead:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YPM8BBY/
4.8 with 1000+ reviews, and an A from fakespot

Is this brush ok on all grills? It won't ruin the finish? Thanks.

Mine are cast iron, and it's fine on it. I can't speak for any other types.

What's so funny? Sounds like a good item, but I'd rather spend less on a comparable one. :)

well skyguy918, it works well on your cast iron grates, how about when you swap in your porcelain grates?

The question was directed at the forum, not necessarily to the OP (in case that wasn't clear due to the quote).

Not even verified purchases under these reviews
That's one of the things Fakespot looks at.

Some brushes shed bristles, I'm always nervous they will wind up in my burgers

If a bristle shed, wouldn't it fall in to where the burners are? Not gonna end up in your food.

Very nice. Thanks. Any reason not to get the Original, and splurge for a better one?

ETA: I see it on Amazon too, but only shipping from China. Did I miss one with normal shipping time?
