Each guest costs 1k SPG, which is $17. I would think charging an $18 surcharge to help compensate for those invested in buying the package is a fair deal. Lunch would cost $35 anyways.

It doesn't make sense to me that you should have to pay more than the rest of the group. Why don't you open the spots of the people that aren't willing to pay the full amount? There may be other people willing to pay $260 to get on...

The main issue was getting someone willing to sell a variable amount between 0 and xxx,xxx at a set rate with full account access.

Last year it went for a little over 210k. When I was notified of this DO, I was told to expect around there to be the total amount for this year as well.
