I am unclear as to the goals of the others on this thread, what exactly is the purpose of establishing that all terrorists are Muslims or not. The main problem with those that are too politically correct to admit that an attack stemmed from Islamic ideology; is that by extension, there is no reason to monitor Muslim factions for warning signs any closer than the general society. If the people maintaining that all terrorists are Muslims want intelligence to ignore any terrorism threat that is coming from a non Muslim source, they're just as dangerous.

All I did was correct a statement that has been repeated numerous times on this forum over the years. I provided the facts to why that statement was wrong. The response was you are a troll but nothing to dispute the facts.

The problem is most here look at things in a vacuum. Look at history and tell me who was the worst terrorist. There have been thousands of terrorist acts over time that were not committed by Muslims. Now someone will twist this into I am defending Muslims instead of facing the facts.

It is quite obvious that not all terrorism was done by Muslims. That fact as well as the number of terrorist attacks over the millennia is only relevant to a discussion over whether or not one religion is better than the other in this aspect. This is how much of the PC crowd seems to feel a need to frame every conversation about religion and terror. In doing so they ignore some valid points made by those making the association between religion and terror. Much of that conversation revolves more around the practical aspects of security. If the vast majority of terror in recent years has been linked to those claiming to practice Islam (I am not knowledgeable in Muslim theology to know whether or not it is a distortion of the religion) that aspect should not be ignored. When the immediate response to those saying this is how Islam is a religion of peace and that it has nothing to do with terror etc etc and accuse them of bigotry all it does is make those people feel attacked. This more than anything is what gave rise to Trump.
