When I start my GE oven, it will often not actually turn right on, and then I hear a POP and the fire starts.

What part needs replacing?

If you hear a pop and the fire starts, it gotta be a gas oven.
Sounds like the starter.
That's where I would start. Get yourself a multi meter clamp like me and a count valentine discussed, and test the ignitor to see if it's a weak ignitor. From what your telling me about how it starts, seems like it's the ignitor.

Either a round or a square ignitor.

GE oven.
When I turn it on, it sometimes seems not to ignite right away, and then I hear a pop when it does.
Sometimes, as it's baking, I smell gas.

Thermocouple or igniter?  or something else?

You can read here my long rant about diagnosing an ignitor.

Thank you, myi and yo ssi (and yoshyosh).

[I use the oven at least once a week.  And frequently at 450 for an hour (pot kugel).]

myi, I read through your discussion with Count Valentine. I'm not sure I'm up to a multi meter clamp.
I'll look at the videos and see.

This plastic "rim" on my dryer cracked. It's there any issue if I glue it back on?

Quite hard to see what you're referring to in this picture.
I say as long as there's a good seal and the door closes, do what ever works for you.
Get a decent glue, as the machine gets quite hot when doing a hot cycle.

My Stackable maytag Washer/Dryer is making some noises when drying, so took it apart and watched it spin while the front cover was off.
It seems the drum support wheel is what's broken.

Now i found the exact part that i need and an OEM part seems to run me $14-15, as i found some on ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-GENUINE-OEM-MAYTAG-Dryer-DRUM-ROLLER-12001541-AP4008534-PS1570070/193877547038?

And for a knockoff part with two drum supports cost only $10 with the pins and all(washers, snap ring washers).
something is too good to be true, but then i see he sold close to 1200 of these? what's the deal, what do you say @CountValentine ?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Pack-Maytag-Dryer-Roller-Wheel-Drum-Support-Kit-303373K-for-12001541-312948/322914950989

Yes you change them in pairs, so would need to buy 2 OEM parts for 25-30 or for $10 a whole bundle deal.

Question is; should i be cheap on $15-20 or buy an original/Oem part/s?

That's where I would start.
Get yourself a multi meter clamp, like me and CountValentine discussed as you can see if you go back a couple of pages in this thread.

From what your telling me about how it starts, seems like it's the ignitor.

Question about GE oven re Shabbos mode:

I have a GE model JGBP30WEA1WW gas oven. The manual for the oven says that some models come with Shabbos mode. However, it seems mine does not (I cycle through the options using the keypad combinations they give and it only goes through "on" and "off", which I think are for turning the automatic shutoff on and off, but no "sab" which would indicate Sabbath mode).

I would like to replace the control board with one that has Shabbos mode. Is this even possible? Also, I can't seem to find anywhere a way to tell which specific models of either the oven or the control board have Shabbos mode (only that some similar models have it, but no model numbers like the one I gave above). Is it something that GE started putting in their ovens at some point and mine is just old? If that's the case, I guess any later model control board will work, right? If not, which model control board do I need? The model I found is WB27K10143, and here's an example of a used one I found on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/GE-Range-Oven-Control-Board-WB27K10143/264724894091?hash=item3da2d5518b:g:dbgAAOSw3tNetZrN

Anyone have experience doing this? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I should say that the original model # for the control panel is WB11K10013, but the one I gave up above replaces that one (so I guess it's the updated version)

Just an update on this for anyone interested. It worked! I finally decided to buy the control board without knowing whether it had Shabbos mode on it. Got it on Amazon Warehouse (Used - Like New) for about $45. I think that is totally worth it. Pretty easy install and since I have a manual temp control for the oven, it will be very good for Yom Tov (ask your LOR if you have shealos).

Some caveats: 1, you will need to either buy a (VERRRYYY expensive) sticker panel for the front if the board doesn't come with it OR do what I did and just take the sticker off your old one and put it on the new one. 2. The old knob for the oven does not fit on the new piece. The new piece has a much thinner metal rod to stick it on, so I have to get a new knob and/or an adapter that goes on my old knob to make it fit.

Otherwise, if you have an old GE oven and want Shabbos mode, this is a reasonable upgrade. Thanks to anyone who offered advice. I appreciate it.

GE Oven Issue:
Have GE Model JGB735FP1DS
Been using the ShabbosKeeper device on this for for several months. Great product and worked like clockwork.
This week pushed 9 to start Early Shabbos Mode. Then decided to make regular Shabbos. Hit Cancel - thinking it would remove it form the Early Shabbos Mode. It shut off the oven and oven did not restart. Tried unplugging oven, no go.
I emailed ShabbosKeeper (Zman Technologies) who advised to disconnect ShabbosKeeper, unplug oven for 10 minutes, plug in oven and wait 10 mins before reconnecting the ShabbosKeeper. Tried this several times to no avail. Oven does not turn on at all - nothing on display (stove does work). ShabbosKeeper says Error- Unit not found".
Any ideas?

My oven randomly goes to broil even when we press bake. Quick Google indicates a control board issue. Make sense?

Start by disconnecting Shabboskeeper and putting it the basement.
Unplug the oven.  wait 10  minutes. plug in and see if it boots up.
Good luck.
