please don't tell me my belt popped.. ;D
Is that an easy fix?
Easy for me, yes.
Have a model number or link. Probably can find a YouTube video on it or similar.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I got a good deal on the model linked below (50% off) I need two, and yes I have to electric.

Anything I should be wary of?

washing machine cold water  is not working like it should it just spurts drops of water instead of regular amount and pressure(also creating a puddle in the machine) so basically only warm water is working

any advice what it is, any recommendations for lakewood repair guy

is there a shut-off nearby? maybe it's partially closed? take off the cold-water pipe and see how the pressure is.. that would tell you if it's a pipe issue or a blockage in the machine

I have seen valves themselves cost as cheap as $20 to $100+. Make and model? Something you might do yourself?

Most I look at seem like double valves (hot and cold) and between $30-$75.
With the help you can get here you sure you don't want to give it a try?  :)

YouTube how to change a water valve.
Find yours and remove it.
Replace what you have in your hand.  Either a local appliance part store, or if you can find a part number on the brand website, you can search on line.
Install the new part.

Good luck.

I had a similar water flow issue and replacing the solenoid fixed it. Its held in place by clamps iirc and need to remove the washer top panel to access

Gonna post here, though not sure if this is the right place, or requires separate thread:

I'm looking to replace some burners/parts on my stove for Pesach (mainly knobs/grates/burner caps)
https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/assembly/JGBS30RET1SS
on the official channel, prices are all over the place. some items (e.g. knobs) are priced relatively reasonably.
Others though, are crazy. for example 4 grates almost cost more than the whole oven (!) :
https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WB31K10033

and the caps are allover the place, jumping from $5 for the small to $50 for the medium

Question:
1. is there a decent way to get normal priced items? (how to shop for knockoffs, while ensuring general compatibility/fit)?

2. is the range top https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WB62X31581 user replaceable? or requires pro/tools?

Knobs on my Samsung stove are plastic and broke. Knock offs I bought on Amazon were metal and work great. You can't tell the difference looking at them. Amazon was less than half the price. You don't like them, or they don't fit you just send them back.

Contrast with wheels for my dishwasher drawer. Knock offs were complete trash.

Just get grates. Sealed burners are not 'easy on- easy off' like the old stoves. Cover it with heavy duty foil.

is there a good way to filter amazon for compatibility?

Not really. If they have a lot of pictures, it helps. Make sure the part number is listed as that helps.

If price is not a factor, should I go with GE or LG front loading washer dryer?
