He says Bosch is a big no no, quality is bad especially for the premium, says if you really want to get high quality get Miele.

Since you particularly mentioned dishwashers, he  says KitchenAid is the best, but has a downside that the depth is a bit bigger than standard counter depth

Seems odd as they are all standard depth.

What's the methodology behind their ratings? Do the rate the product over years of usage? Ease of repair?
Another aspect is the regular usage vs the usage in a typical heimish home

I've had a Bosch for 6-7 years with no issues BH. I love that it's silent.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but...my freezer is not connected to a water line, but every once in a while, the ice maker makes ice. Like - a LOT of ice, as in enough to fill half my sink.

Frigidaire Model FGFU19F6QF.

Is the water coming from excess moisture in the freezer (in which case maybe it's a good thing it's making the ice cubes, so I can easily remove)?

Any other ideas?
