Anyway, I paid someone $100 to find out that I have to pay additional $300 for a new part.  :(
I should really be giving more tzedaka.

Any technicians able to fix the annoying typo in the thread title?
Sorry for that. I just realized what happened. The problem is that when typing in the body you have spell check, but not in the title line.

Anyway, JJ fixed it.

I am constantly finding "sweating" and condensation on the bottles inside my fridge. I do not constantly open and close the fridge and as far as I can see the door closes well. The food is cold I just wonder what might be causing this and if this is signaling a problem coming

When it's very hot, I think it's normal. Is this happening even on cooler days or when your a/c is continuously on?

Wall air conditioner that's over 10 years old, but used infrequently.  It's not blowing cold.
My guess is it needs more coolant.  Any recommendations for a repair guy?

Good chance it is worth replacing depending on how infrequently you use it. With a new one you will save a lot of electricity.

It's in my storage room 2nd guest room. Would a new one be so much more efficient than one 10 or so years old?

It is definitely much more efficient but you would need to check the numbers to find out how much. Once you add repair costs.......

A new one might not be too much more then a repair guy.

I have a window unit air conditioner which Although it gets the room quiet cold, the room stays very humid. Anyone experience this ever?
"If the air conditioner you buy is too big, the room will cool too quickly without removing enough humidity from the air."
also: On humid days, set the fan speed on low; the slower air movement removes more moisture from the air.

Sounds like the switch which is by the door of the Dryer needs to be replaced! (the switch which senses when the dryer door is shut! )

Is it complicated that I need to call someone down or can I do it myself?

Usually the washer and dryer have nothing to do with each other, except that they are on top of each other! If one works doesn't mean the other will or vise versa! ...

Yes, very simple. Some cheaper models can't be done though.

Absolutely.  My freezer door had about 25 screws that were hidden inside the gasket around the perimeter.  It was just a matter of unscrewing, replacing, and screwing back again.

Sounds like the switch which is by the door of the Dryer needs to be replaced! (the switch which senses when the dryer door is shut! )
Before you replace the switch, does the dryer door shut perfectly?  Maybe it is being jiggled out of place.  Are there any black dots where the door grinds against the machine when closing it?  It could be bent a bit out of shape (like if heavy things were kept on top).
