It's really in the middle of nowhere, not sure why there would be loads of Jews. Also, what does Jews have to do with it? He's fine with it if it's full of non-Jews?
Don't have to worry about people talking & word getting out.

it's not in the middle of nowhere. it's a famous chain hotel that's driving distance from NY with excellent family atmosphere. Put in a falafel stand and half of Brooklyn will be there

Meh. Outside the DDF community, I don't really see the advantage.

you think only ddf'ers are capable of searching on Hyatt? even with all the BS about smarphones, internet filters, so called 'kosher phones' people still find ways to flock out of NY. even if it is further down south.

Hyatt = Chase = New York

Hyatt = Chase = New York
Nothing to do with that. I was referring to the ability to use points and/or free nights. If you're actually paying for it, you can find cheaper, better and closer.

No idea what that last part with the = means.

think of the percentage of jews that live in NY.
think of the percentage of those NY'ers that bank with Chase
now think of all the people that bank with Chase that have heard of Hyatt...

This is a really weird connection to make. Would you say that Hyatt hotels generally have more Jews than SPG hotels? Or Hilton, or Marriot, or IHG? (That was rhetorical, I would be willing to bet that there's no significant difference).

Yeah but you can't transfer Chase points to those hotels...

my point was that it may be in the middle of nowhere. that doesn't mean jews won't flock/are clueless

Hence my comment about the DDF crowd. I think it's safe to say that the average joe (or yoely as it were) doesn't know about that. I'm not saying you need to be on DDF to know about that - but those that do are included in my comment about the 'DDF crowd'. Still a pretty small percentage of people out there.

See above. Knowing about a hotel is not the same as wanting to go there. IMO, this place isn't worthwhile without points/free nights, and I think it's pretty safe to say that the average non-DDF'er doesn't know about points/free nights.

Thanks for the write up. Helpful particulars. I could see making a little family escape. But kind of far to go from Boston.

This is a great hotel... A ton of activities for kids... Driving distance makes it a great destination. Was there a few years ago for Labor Day Weekend. Early Sunday morning until late Monday. Perfect destination for a short vacation.

Nice TR.  I am expecting a hectic summer this coming one,so was thinking about going here.  Did you look into seeing if there is a local Chabad that does food delivery?

Thanks. I did not, but now that this place has become Jewville, there may be others who know more about the recent Kosher situation here.
