Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

I received my new metal card yesterday, I was expecting to see a fancy box that I've seen in some unboxing videos, instead, it came in a plain white envelope. Are they no longer using that box :P?

When I got my card at the beginning of October it was in an envelope too. Not sure if that's it now though.

Well, I read many people trying saying the the closing date of the statement must be before end of Dec. even if you make your purchase before end Dec. That's why I am asking.

It goes by purchase date

as long as you spend the $300 before your Dec. statement closes.
The card usually comes quick, there should be plenty of time

Is booking a hotel on Priceline, considered travel related, to get the $300 credit?

Update: was automatically approved for SR with35k limit, it showed up in my account in the morning. In the afternoon I received a call from Chase to veriy if I really applied for all 4 cards and was told that the SP and UE are declined due to too much credit, I asked if they can reconsider rep said she can reconsider but only for one more, I chose the UE and was also approved. I was at 3/24 on primaries and 4/25 including AU. No CPC.
Update: This game is well and alive. I was approved today for my 4th card the SP after calling in recon.

To sum up  i was approved for:
1) SR - 100k
2)Ink plus - 70k
3) UE - 55k
4) SP - 55k

The last one needed a bit of convincing. Some points a made to them was - move credit - I'd really love to leave Amex - I explained that i need the SP even though i have SR so i can add free AU. Not sure what did it maybe all together....
Edit: It did cost 2 pulls, Experian wouldn't dispute no matter how many Hucas. they claim they can see it was from 2 different departments.

Adverse Action meaning chase shuts down all you accounts. Opening a lot of cards in a short amount of time can sometimes be a trigger. Read more here http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=11216.0
