Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Been off the radar for a couple of years to reset my 5/24 record. Just reading up on the (for me) new CSR. It seems to me that I'd be better off applying for the CSP, which can net me an extra 5k UR for AU, and then PC to CSR to enjoy the added benefits. Can someone confirm or rebut this theory? Anything I missed about the card that only comes when actually applying for it?
TIA

You as per the CARD act, you won't be able to PC a CSP to a CSR in the first year, as that would increase the AF.

I have a large balance of UR points on an Ink card that I plan on closing (unless they offer to waive the fee). I have that account set as a separate login. How can I combine with my personal UR accounts? Is that a potential trigger for review or closure?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

You can transfer the way you always do, from the rewards part of the site.
Side note, you can downgrade to the great CIC, which is free.

There is a reason I clarified that it's just an opinion, I believe quite a logical one. But again someone may have experience otherwise.
I've transferred from my Biz to Personal UR accounts, with no problems, though I never closed either, and they are associated with the same login, so the situation isn't identical.
But again I don't think anyone will have anything more then an assumption

I guess your knowledge with Chase seems to be very inexperienced

Chase allowes transfer between your biz and personal cards. Chase couldn’t care less which login you used and how many logins you have to your accounts.

Are you trying to get something?
He asked about risk, not what they allow, I don't know his reason to assume there is a risk, but he did mention separate accounts.

Is there way to combine Ink and personal into one login? Would that be less "risky"? I haven't been following so closely in the last year or so but I remember that transferring points to a different person was a trigger for problems...While in my case it's the same person, the different logins may be analogous to Chase...I know it was for different reasons but I heard that a bunch of people had all they're Chase account closed down recently...it seems they're in a strict mood....

There is no reason to assume there is a risk, this is (part of) what the transferring option is there for. And yes, you can call Chase(I'm told you can do it online too) to add your personal account, to your business account.

They can speak up to, again a PM is an option, I don't see a problem with answering questions asked. More specifically when I read the WHOLE question, and answer the question asked.
