Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Same
It showed up a week later - well before the 1-2 billing cycles.

Just got my statement with a notice that the AF will be billed 2/1 for 450 so I guess they further delayed the increase.

I called to see if I can get a retention offer as many have been getting and was offered nothing. Anyone got recently.

Probably because it's not due for a little while.

Too lazy to read thru all the pages. Is the $300 credit calendar or member year?

Huca'd x3 they wont let me upgrade sapphire to reserve however I can reinstate my previous downgrade back to the reserve but at $550 AF.....

Other then the 1.5 on redemption any benefits of the reserve, that I dont have from other cards..(PP Global, ex on dining etc)?

Sounds like that logic should be done in reverse.

Only option would be to upgrade freedom back to reserve, and downgrade preffered to freedom.....

Trying to figure out benefits of the Sapphire if worth the $150 AF (The sapphire I'm paying anyway $95)

The elevated redemption rate, priority pass, dashpass, lyft pink (which includes grubhub+ and seamless+), another $60 peloton credit and +1x UR on dining (worthless to anyone with a freedom unless you want to use PYB) and travel. I think that's all the difference.

Thanks I didn't see that. The forums search function is pretty bad, I searched peloton and it didn't come up
