Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Tell them you're thinking of opening an investment account or transferring in more funds and ask if they can assign you a Chase Private Client banker

Everyone keeps talking about CPC. I've searched around but it seems you need at least 250k for an invite or to be enrolled.

Any other info? I'd love to have one more try since im over 5/24 and was declined.

over 250K?
or you got CPC a different way?
Any CPC relationship banker can give you it, if they really value your relationship. (IIrc when I got it, the screen prompted the banker to check for at least $100k, but they overrode that).

Besides that, anyone with CPC can give their immediate family CPC by becoming a joint account holder with them on 1 account (the free CPC deposit box is a easy choice), then all their accounts become CPC.

so no one here besides me is waiting for Dans Link.....

I'm waiting it out.  No rush really since I'm under 5/24 (now I've just revealed myself to be an amatuer).  Planning to cancel my CSP to recoup the $95 AF and milk this one for at least two $300 credits.

Wife got pending . She called and the rep said she can be approved for up to 22k credit line but that she would have to transfer  credit line from other cards of at least $10k. Turns out she can't be approved at all unless she transfers  credit  from other cards so she did transfer but the rep said even though new address was updated online it is new and I have to go to a branch to verify with my id and they will send it back and then I should call. Went to a branch and the banker had zero clue what to do and I spent at least an hour at the branch. Banker has to wait like 30 mins on phone to get an agent just like us. My wife has only 3 inquiries total including mortgage in last 24 month. I can't apply for  at least few months because I have no idea to meet the spend limit in 3 months while she has to meet the spend req. Used to be easy at target and Walmart and I think all almost dead unless I pay some bills with 3% fee? Sad time. She also applies and got the Hilton no fee card. Pls tell me the updates on MS. I have an autistic child to look after and it is not that easy .
