Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Ink will be another pull, worth to give a shot for another pull?
Yes, IMO. A pull won't kill you.
Chase would approve more than 2 cards per day?
With pushing.
think by now with those 2 cards i am past 5/24.
That shouldn't kill you.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

So, No.
Yes, IMO. A pull won't kill you.

+1
IMO one of the best cards out there to keep. (As long as that 5x stays)

If recon says they gotta send it up to senior advisor and will take 7-10 days for final decision and when you call # it says 7-10 does that mean denied or in recon is different?

Do a big AOR today, and only open 4 more cards for the next 24 months.

Personally, I think anyone planning 24 months down the line in this game is nuts, but that's just me.
CPC restarts your 5/24 or just a one time override?

DW got instantly approved online. She's 2/24.

I got the "we'll let you know in 30 days email". I'm about 6/24. May the Force be with us...always.

Wait it out or call recon?

Email is irrelevant. Call status line (number in chase recon wiki) and hear what they say.

Just got a couple of recon'ed approvals through your links, Dan.

Sorry about the two I did last week, but recon is a headache.

I don't have a link... But, each CB has a link on their page to dispute the report. If you go to Experian's website and scroll down a bit, there's a button that says disputes. On the next page you want to start a new dispute. Once you hit that, you'll need to give your info and confirm identity. Then on the report, there will be a list of accounts and to the right of that, each account will have a button that says dispute. You'll need to choose a reason for the dispute, such as 'not my account'.

Do I have to remove myself as AU with bank first? How quickly will the report be updated?

No. Each CB is different. I believe Experian can take up to 30 days.
