Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Yet, I still haven't seen a report of a dollar amount that someone got approved for. Are people doing it with 200K? Pulling it off with just 50K?

They offered to move me to CPC when I had $80k and the "potential" to bring in more funds in the future.

People have pulled it off with $1,000.
It's all about your relationship with the banker. Or promises of future account funding.
So far I haven't pulled it off with decent $$ there now plus promise of much more significant funds coming in soon (which happens to be true..) Said we should meet again when additional funds are in that account :(

Perfect, thanks! Will see how it goes tonight. And if it goes well, will see if he can recon my existing app or if I'll have to submit a new one.

+1
30 minutes ago I walked into my local branch with one goal: To walk out a cpc.. I'm now -30 minutes later-  walking out, and my goal is 80% reached.. (I'll probably reach 100% as soon as my partner picks up his phone and agrees to transfer our bussiness checking account from Cap1 to Chase...)

If you can convince them that you have the potential to reach $250k and setup a plan with them, you're likely walking away a cpc.

I want to use all my UR points to book flights and get it at 1.5 a piece. However, I do not have my CSR yet, but was approved last week. Anyone know if/how I can book the travel without having my card yet?

Advice needed: I want to apply for the SR as part of an AOR with Citi Prestige which according to Dan, will no longer be providing some of the benefits for applications after 8/30 (tomorrow). Although I haven't applied for more than one card in last 24 months, there are multiple AU that have been opened in my name.

Should I just jump in today and hope for the best? or wait to get those accounts off my credit report and loose the Prestige benefits? Also no one seems to know how long this 100k offer will be around for anyways?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

It should be in your account online as soon as you're approved and you can redeem from there.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do I need to move my points from my regular Sapphire to the reserved first?

Thanks.

Recon. approved me after I told them that 7/8 are AU accounts. The rep. required I transfer from existing credit line (after I recommended). What are my chances of applting for another Chase card today (probably Marriot).
