Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Data point.
Applied for CSR and CSP for a friend via 2BM.
He's had CSP in that past, currently under 5/24.
Instant approval for both.

under 5/24
who cares?

I applied for my wife last week and got declined. She's under 5/24. I called recon. and the kind rep. tried getting her approved after offering to transfer some CL from her CSP. But just before confirming, she said she needs to transfer me to verifications dep. to answer some questions. She transferred me, and I answered whatever they asked, and the app went into pending status.
This was already a few days ago. Every time I try calling recon. (lending dept.) they tell me that it's pending approval from the verifications dept. and they transfer me there. But at verifications, they don't give any details other than "you'll receive your answer by mail in 1-2 weeks". Anymore info I try to squeeze out, I just hit a brick wall. There's nobody to negotiate with in that dept. In the meantime, I'm losing my mind from all this uncertainty.
1) Any ideas on when this happens? Could it be due to my male voice, while claiming to be a woman. (my wife is really not familiar in this field, so I'm left to do all the negotiating)
2) Any DP on what to expect in such a situation? IME, the last time I (not DW) had such a situation (with UA explorer) it took nearly 30 days before they declined without explanation, and they refused to recon. "as it's 30 days the app is dead and you can only re-apply".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

"Currently"- meaning without new accounts or including?

you should be ok if you are 4/24. The AU counts so if you get it removed you will be fine.

A Chase banker said that new pre-approval offers were released on the 1st of each month, I had one report confirming this (they weren't pre-approved before, but were today). If anybody that wasn't pre-approved checks in branch again, please let me know the results.

+1, my banker said the same, the system scans for new offers in the beginning of the month,  but he said it can take a few days to show up in the system.

I am over 5/24, not available to go in-branch, so I want to give it a shot on-line, should I do a 3BM? I would love to get the Ritz, and another INK.
