Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

its great that you thought out of the box and stretched your imagination on that post on DDMS but please don't say he wrote it clearly on DDMS which is just simply ridiculous.  You really think most people knew you can just get anybody with CPC and add them to your account with any amount and whola.  Doubt it
Wow dude. Calm down. didn't mean to heat you up and sorry that I did. I Already responded to you ....

You know what ?, you're right, it wasn't clearly written for everybody to understand on DDMS .

I was totally wrong  for assuming what's considered  clear and what's not . I guess I just talk a different language .

That's beside for what the man himself is saying....
Either way, I've written about CPC several times.
BH now , everyone understands and can take full advantage .

Try and don't report back. Now delete your post.

By mistake I shredded it?

I was not pre approved and under 5/24, I applied by banker, got pending, CPC banker called in and got approved, right after that I applied from my phone for Ritz via DD link and got approved as well! Should I go for a third?

Nothing. Just reporting the data as is.

If you weren't over 5/24, you should've applied via DD link. Banker calling recon likely wasn't any more effective than you calling would've been.

There's a DD Ritz link? I couldn't find one in the past.

Sure. Worst that'll happen is you get denied.

I was not pre approved so I figured I have a better chance by banker.

I had my wife apply for me while I was still sitting with my banker right after I applied for the reserve. She knows to use the DD link but if you're saying there isn't then she obviously didn't use one.

Which card should I go for right now?

CSP, IP, Marriott, Hyatt, ect.

I am way over 5/24 and got approved in bank, via pre-approval (he listed 4-5 cards that were pre-approved). Whole thing took about 15 minutes.
Same for wife she also got it via pre-approved in bank, and she was also way over 5/24.

How do you figure that?
1. I consider my self smart.
2. I thought if I won't get approved for whatever reason he will work for me.
