Sorry if this has been asked a million times.... But I have a card that will put me under 5/24 in a few days.

Question is do I need to wait until January or does it go by the actual calendar date the 24 months?

If I apply today will the statement probably close after Dec. 31st?
Don't want to risk losing a year of $300 credit.

It most likely will close in January but you should be able to get them to move it up to December.

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.
It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th."

Be creative, they don't exactly give you a hard time about it, you could say tax reasons, you want to keep yearly spending separate, etc.

Check your account for the due date or call and ask for your statement close date and due date.

I have a question I'm not sure if this is the right place but I want to buy Disney park tickets if I do it through calling a travel agent or through calling Disney am I able the $300 travel credit to go towards the tickets?

now have to wait and see once i get the card if i can still triple dip

ETA first due date is Jan 23
