Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

+1 and by now you should know that people don't give out that kind of information in public. Don't mean to beat up on you, but most people wouldn't have asked the question the same way, and would've received nicer (although not much more informative) answers
was this addressed to me?

No, to Menachem. Relatively new, and still not so good at quoting multiple posts

Comeone, the guys not asking how to ms on a large scale. There are simple very public ways to ms 4k in 3 months, no reason to be seekritive about everything.

Because it's the same story every time. It's either a new guy, or someone who was been around for a while and hasn't been following the MS game much. The common denominator is they ask to be told the breakdown, explained clearly for them. The second they don't get that info, they start posting with an attitude. It's the sense of entitlement that ticks people off!

Buy VC/MC GC's at your favorite store then MO's with the GC's. There we are done. Now lets move on.

I never really spend before large amounts with chase, and im trying to finish my 4k treshold on my reserve (regular spending not ms), from previous posts here i understand that if u didnt do it before its not ideal to start spending 2 3k on your new chase card cause it may look too aggressive to them, now how about if i spend lets say 1 2k and i pay it right away am i safe to spend again the same amounts or have to wait for next billing cycle?  TIA
Do u have any different idea for a signature?

4k on CSR is no big deal
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I've done 5k+ within 5 minutes of approval on virgin card without issue.

i guess it depends on your spend history before with chase

from being here enough long i remember reading here few times that even u got a large cl u shouldent start spending aggressively with chase if u didnt made any large purchases with them before just to build it up slowly, is that right? or maybe i just dont remember good?

It was on my daughters card and the first with Chase in her name. Building up slowly is always a good idea.

For MS for sure it's good to slowly build up, but regular spending shouldn't be a problem at all

You've got it wrong. The attitude came from the first respondents...

Funny I was going to quote your initial attitude, but it has all been deleted

There's a difference between attitude and making a joke.
