Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

They can speak up to, again a PM is an option, I don't see a problem with answering questions asked. More specifically when I read the WHOLE question, and answer the question asked.

Is there way to combine Ink and personal into one login? Would that be less "risky"? I haven't been following so closely in the last year or so but I remember that transferring points to a different person was a trigger for problems...While in my case it's the same person, the different logins may be analogous to Chase...I know it was for different reasons but I heard that a bunch of people had all they're Chase account closed down recently...it seems they're in a strict mood....
Yes you can easily combine your two logins, the personal cards will be transferred over into the biz login. There is no risk transferring your UR between your own cards, regardless of which login they are currently in.

I have had trouble transferring from ink to reserve, both in my name different logins. The reason given: My account was already linked to someone else's account. Also the  personal rep couldn't see the ink and the biz rep, claimed it was a personal issue  :P

You need to wait for it to have been 24 months since you got the bonus on the reserve.
And you should change the Sapphire to a Freedom, or Freedom Unlimited, no need to close the card.

You can more then one, being that FU has no limits, it's pointless to have 2,so I'd PC to the regular freedom, so you get double 5x per quarter.

It will be considered a late payment and if it takes a while for annual fee refund to post (which it did by me, credit posted almost 30 days after downgrading) , it will negatively affect your credit report/score. Be safe, pay your bill on or before due date.

$450 is not that small of a fee... Yet it's the price you gotta pay after enjoying $300 travel credit which will be soon be free $$$, once his $450 refund posts!...
