Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Anyone have info on benefit changes with the JP Morgan Reserve? Per my convo with them, it seems like the changes are identical, but curious if anyone has heard differently? @Dan?

Chargeback?
But that wouldn't cover the cost of the new tickets to get back home. Did CSR coverage cover that?

Do the DoorDash Dashpass and Lyft Pink continue for the year (or 2 for Dashpass) if you cancel your CSR?

My AF is going up 4/1 and I'm not sure it's worth keeping, and I'm curious if I'll still get my Dashpass and Lyft Pink even if I don't have the card anymore.

Thanks. Change in online profile was actually instant. I applied right away and was denied. Hopefully if recon approves it'll be based on today's date.
Rep seemed to be very experienced with this situation and said even though system shows the change even for him, "it's his understanding that it could take up to 30 days for the system to no longer recognize the old product". No credit pull, though

48 month rule as she had the card 3 1/2 years ago. Is there a card I can get and PC to this one? I don't care about the SUB.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Had the card has nothing to do with it. Depends on when the last bonus posted.
Yes-CF/CFU.

I can't remember but it would be a good bet SUB posted on first statement. Is there any time you need to wait once I get the card to PC?

Can anyone confirm if NJ Transit tickets bought through the app are eligible for the $300 credit?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

If no one can confirm, buy a $1 ticket on the app

Can't confirm, but I'd be very surprised if they aren't.
