Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

Chase told me that Priority Pass ends as soon as card is closed (or downgraded), but the Dashpass and Lyft Pink would continue for the rest of their membership, since those are external perks.

DROPR. My DashPass and Lyft pink both we canceled within minutes of downgrading.

If I purchase tickets with the CSR, then downgrade the card and a few months later fly with those tickets, do I still get the protections of the CSR (flight delay insurance etc.) on those tickets (since they were purchased with CSR) or not (since at the time of the flight it's no longer a CSR account)?

Gotta be very specific travel insurance is very general.

Upon a arrival safely at your destination your benefits are:
Emergency Medical and Dental Benefit:
$2,500 for medical expenses on trips between 5-60 days, more than 100 miles from your home
Emergency Evacuation Insurance:
$100,000 for trips between 5-60 days, more than 100 miles from your home

Is there a limit on how often I can upgrade/downgrade a card from freedom to reserve? Can I theoretically upgrade, get the benefits (travel credit, cash out points at 1.5 etc.) and downgrade back to freedom a month later?
I was told now when I downgraded my CSR that I wont be able to upgrade within the next 12 months...

If i placed a doordash order today and downgrade the card today, will the system still know to give me the $60 credit? I know, procrastination is really hurting me right now

Got the following message: unfortunately unable to approve your application, we'll let you know in 7-10 days. Is that an outright rejection b/c the old Reserve hasn't fully updated in their systems or I'm rejected for a different reason. I've always had auto approval and credit/income shouldn't be issues.

Instant approved for daughter.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Because I don't know which thread I am posting in.  :-[
It was the CSP. I will upgrade to the CSR.

Now with new offers on Ink unlimited and cash (75k for 7500 spend), we need to convince Chase to upgrade the reserve’s SUB offer.
At this time they’ve upgraded (at least temporarily) almost all their major cards except for reserve.
